The Target Circle Guest Directed Community Giving Program has been around since 2019 and as of 2025, more than 1 Billion Votes have been cast for nonprofits. As a Target Circle member, guests earn a vote for each Target purchase. Guests can then use those votes to direct where funds go in support of nonprofits in their community and across the nation. As each voting period wraps, Target awards this unrestricted grant money to the nonprofits based on the percentage of votes they receive.
